Danone has set forth a bold ambition to become one of the leading parent-friendly companies in the world, through the implementation of a global gender-neutral paid parental leave policy for all employees. As an inaugural HeForShe Thematic Champion for paid parental leave, the company will pilot innovative approaches to support parents during the first 1,000 days; including pre-natal support, extended parental leave and post-natal commitments. Danone’s 18 week’s gender-neutral paid parental leave policy will extend to adoptive parents and will be gradually implemented and customized by local teams to best address local needs.
