Ten of the world’s leading companies have released new workforce gender diversity figures in UN Women’s inaugural HeForShe Parity Report.

The findings were unveiled during the World Economic Forum annual meeting in Davos at an IMPACT 10x10x10 event attended by the firm’s CEOs, alongside Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of UN Women, and UN Women Goodwill Ambassador Emma Watson.

30 global leaders will convene to share ground-breaking solutions on how to achieve gender equality as part of UN Women’s HeForShe movement

(New York, October 29, 2018) – UN Women’s HeForShe solidarity movement for gender equality has concluded its inaugural United States #GetFree University Tour, which brought ideas of gender equality directly to students at colleges and universities throughout the Northeast. At each stop, a dynamic conversation among students, faculty, gender experts and thought-leaders explored challenges and opportunities for getting more girls and women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) subjects and careers.

NEW YORK, Sept. 26, 2018

Fenerbahçe Sports Club, one of the oldest and most popular sports clubs in Turkey, joined forces with the HeForShe movement to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment in sport. As a result of this unique collaboration, Fenerbahçe aims to set an example globally by pioneering a number of initiatives in the sports community through the “Equal Together” movement until the end of 2019. As part of the collaboration, Fenerbahçe Football Club Soccer Team will be wearing the HeForShe logo on their right arm throughout the 2018-2019 season.
