In a bid to foster meaningful conversations crucial for sustainable change, UN Women Pakistan has introduced the thought-provoking podcast series, "Gender Talks". The podcast serves as a dynamic platform amplifying the voices of individuals dedicated to advancing gender equality.

The first season, comprising four episodes, explores a diverse array of topics such as women's empowerment, gender-based violence, economic opportunities for women, and more. Each episode is set to include expert interviews, personal stories, and engaging discussions, providing listeners with fresh perspectives on critical gender issues. The inaugural episode of "Gender Talks" features prominent guests Nilofar Bakhtiar, Chairperson of the National Commission for the Status of Women in Pakistan, and Sharmeela Rassool, Country Representative for UN Women in Pakistan.

The second episode of the podcast is dedicated to the HeForShe movement. This episode delves into the transformative power of gender equality through inspiring stories and insightful discussions. Featured guests include Franklin Okumu, Country Deputy Representative; M. Younas Khalid, Gender and Social Policy Advisor; and Omer Khalid Butt, Journalist. HeForShe emphasizes the universal nature of gender equality, asserting that it is not solely a women's issue but a societal one. Men and boys are encouraged to actively participate in the movement, breaking down stereotypes, challenging discrimination, and contributing to a more inclusive and equitable world for all genders.

Nabila Malick, UN Women Pakistan Communications Expert, takes on the role of host for the podcast, guiding listeners through these crucial conversations.
