In 2021, INSEAD became the first business school to join UN Women's HeForShe Alliance. Built on its core value of diversity, INSEAD’s Gender Initiative is on a mission to advance gender balance in society. It integrates research, business, and teaching to engage the full potential of both women and men. It inspires all to take action to empower women leaders to positively influence business and society.

HeForShe Türkiye has left behind seven years of advocacy for gender equality. To celebrate this anniversary, the renowned actor and HeForShe Advocate Kerem Bürsin and young activists came together to have a discussion on issues related to gender equality and transformation of harmful masculinities.

The Symposium of Traditional Leaders and Faith Leaders in Lesotho was held on 30 June 2022, at Lehakoe Recreational Centre, Maseru, with the aim of bolstering a dynamic and vast collaborative experience between the Principal Chiefs and Faith Leaders. The symposium was organized by UN Women South Africa Multi Country office through Man Up Lesotho who seek to address sexual gender-based violence (SGBV) and HIV vulnerability through mobilising men.

Guatemalan actor Benjamín Levy Aguilar, together with representatives of the UN Guatemala, signed a commitment in favor of gender equality and the empowerment of women within the framework of the global initiative HeForShe.

The Arabic HeForShe team recently implemented a social media campaign to raise awareness for gender equality and women's empowerment through interactive social media posts and stories in Arabic and English that aim to break down harmful stereotypes. 

North Wales Police came together with forces from across the UK on Tuesday July 5th as part of the international gender equality campaign – HeForShe.
